Our "Top 10" Most-Read Recent Articles

We thought it would be fun—and just possibly informative—to look back at our most popular articles over the past several months. So, based on your click patterns and page access data, here are the articles you've been tuning in to. We encourage you to revisit them, or check them out now if you missed them the first time around. They are listed in order of how frequently they've been read:

Please enjoy them responsibly – at your leisure.

Looking Ahead

We're very pleased that we have been invited by Realcomm to lead a pre-conference track at the Realcomm 2009 Summit Conference in Chicago next June. We'll have a more formal announcement shortly, but we urge you to put June 22-24 on your calendars and come join us on the 22nd for an in-depth look at the changing nature of work and its implications for workplace design and location strategies. Our track is tentatively titled "REboot, Rethink, Redesign:  the Future of Work in an Age of Uncertainty." Hope to see you there.

We also continue to travel regularly on private business with individual clients. If we're in your area and have a few minutes, we'd love to see you for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or "refreshments" any time after 5 PM local time (and you know what that means).

Give us a shout or send us a note, and if we can squeeze out some time, we'd love to say hello and share some good ideas the old-fashioned way: face-to-face, glass in hand.

Here's what's on our calendars right now:

April and May

It's going to be a busy spring.

  • March 31 through April 2 we were in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the IFMA Corporate Real Estate Council meeting at the 2009 IFMA Industries Forum. We led a conversation with Diane Coles of SCAN Health and about 60 facilities professionals focused on "Corporate Agility and the Future of Real Estate" (stay tuned for more about Diane's leadership in revolutionizing the workplace strategy at SCAN).

  • On April 27 at the CoreNet Global Summit in Dallas we'll be leading a panel discussion focused on a case study of an organization transitioning to a more distributed/flexible workforce – and realizing increased productivity, a potential ROI above 40%, and enhanced employee engagement. You really shouldn't miss this ground-breaking story.

  • On May 12 we'll be delivering a free webinar (registration required) sponsored by Citrix Online. Our working title is "Corporate Agility: Pushing the Reset Button for a New Economy."

Longer Term

  • May 31-June 3 we are very tentatively scheduled to be in Denver participating in the annual conference and exposition of the National Association of Regional Councils, a group comprised of regional economic development organizations.

  • June 22 we'll be in Chicago (at the Hyatt Regency) leading a special pre-conference track on the future of work at the RealComm Summit 2009 North America.
